I feel torn. While I want to say "instead of cutting a $250 cheque to everyone", gov the money to food banks. Food banks is not necessarily the best way to alleviate poverty. There is a shame tax / psychological burden for users of food banks that is not ideal. However, there is a more targeted way than cutting a a cheque to everyone. #foodInsecurity #Canada #poverty

We look forward to continuing discussions on these issues within the G20 and other relevant forums, drawing on the technical contributions of international organizations, universities, and experts," says the document, whose final content was approved by consensus.
