Photography. A black and white photo of six children jumping into the river from a bridge in Boston. Five boys are jumping together and in different positions; one girl is just touching the water with her feet. The bank of the city can be seen in the background. At first glance, one suspects something strange or bad at the sight of the falling people, only to realize that it was perfect timing that turned this photo into an image reminiscent of a Magritte painting.
Info: JohnTlumaci has been a photographer for 30 years. He was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in the photography category for his coverage of the fall of the Berlin Wall. His assignments have included war refugees in Uganda, three Winter Olympics, Super Bowls and the tragic photos of the Boston Marathon bombings.
