Hey Fabio, the guy doesn’t care about facts.

PS. We’ve never asked for ID and we won’t. Our goal isn’t to verify their identity; it’s only to verify that they’re in Gaza and that they’re Palestinian. Some of the people we’ve spoken to have volunteered to show their IDs and, at least in the calls I’ve been involved in, I’ve refused them and it’s not our policy to ask for IDs. Speaking to them in Palestinian Arabic, having them take us around outside their house/tent so we can see the area and their IP addresses are more than enough.

And all we do is verify that they are Palestinian and in Gaza (or, if they’re refugees outside of Gaza, that their profile reflects that). i.e., we verify that they are victims on an ongoing genocide.

Aral Balkan reshared this.

Thank you, Mr. Aral, from the bottom of our hearts, for standing up for us and defending our voices. Your support means so much to us here in Gaza. You have been a true and honest voice for us in the outside world, and we are deeply grateful for your courage and solidarity. May you always be safe and blessed. 🤍🇵🇸

Did you actually report the profile? You know, using the report-feature built into Codeberg?
in reply to defnull

Yes, it was (right, @katzenberger). And they are aware of the situation. Awaiting their response.

Spam is spam, block lists are block lists. No exceptions.

Your authoritarian approach to mark people you disagree with publicly as enemies demanding to take action against them sucks big time.

Anti-zionist? Obviously.
Anti-fascist? Not so much.

[Update: removed one account from the list that has been suspended by mstdn.social, meanwhile]

@stux

True for Linux-@-masto.ai, but since they're deliberately using multiple accounts in parallel, the following posts / accounts are still available, also when looked up directly on mstdn.social:

  • planet.moe/@Linux/117026947200429669
  • mastodon.com.pl/@Linux/117032969787499704

(https:// deliberately omitted, don't want to see the links expanded into previews):

@stux This guy has a million accounts across every instance you could think of. He almost always uses the same avatar though.

I am thinking:

Providing a list of "Gaza verified" accounts, can, in my view, not be considered "Zionist lies", even if labelled "block list".

It is foremost pure information - if the mentioned accounts weren't actually carrying the label, it would be a lie, otherwise not.

Expressing the opinion that aptly crafted social media posts, unsolicited DMs and mentions through some/many/all of these accounts are spam, is valid and legal.
