#FediHood should be easy to use, with a very simple interface. It fully uses #ActivityPub and is compatible with the #Mastodon API (tested with #Fedilab). It will of course bring extra endpoints related to how it works. The project reuses the combined work from #HolosSocial and #PawFed.

BTW, I have a small suggestion. In the topics would you consider changing "Buy and sell" to something like "Share" ? I ask this because I think it would be nice to have a sharebay.org type space on the fediverse (See sharebay.org/how-it-works). We already have a lot of buying and selling on the internet, so why not try to promote sharing a bit? 🙂

But whatever word we pick it should be easy to discern for people that it's the right topic to use when they are offering something for free (like a good or service).
Also I'm fine with keeping "Buy & sell" topic as long as it doesn't turn into spammy ads, but even then I realized it's better to have a separate topic like that in order to filter them out if you want.

Yes this looks much better designed, it's good to have a separate topic for "Buy & sell" then. I like how you thought about things like that, yeah if someone is not interested in sports for example they can just mute that topic - makes a lot of sense 🙂

BTW, about adding the word "Share" as a topic. I asked others for suggestions on a Matrix group and so far the best option we found is to use "Share/Offer" as a topic - I think it's more intuitive when you put those 2 words together like that.
Still open for suggestions tho, so feel free to let me know if anyone has a better idea.

Also I must say that you were definately in the perfect position to create such an app - developing Fedilab, Holos, and Pawfed means that you are already familiar with all the core technologies required to make this work. And honestly I'm glad you did it 'cause I always thought about having such an app which could connect people in real life.
