If you want to reply to a post that also mentions another user, but your reply won't benefit the other user, you CAN remove their username before you reply.

In fact, this will stop you from annoying people with useless notifications that don't pertain to them! It's pretty neat.

(Okay this one is a bit sarcastic, but seriously, stop spamming people because you're too lazy to backspace their username, thanks)
