All the birds hid from me (although they did sing very nicely), but I did spot this butterfly.

I *think* it's a speckled wood but I couldn't get a good shot of its wings to check (I was not appropriately dressed for making my way through the undergrowth & it refused my entreaties to come closer).

A red admiral butterfly hitched a ride on me during my morning walk. She hopped on at about King and Bay heading west and got off around Spadina and Dundas heading north. Hope she found what she was looking for -- I'd hate to be the wrong bus.
