There's a lot of litter in Mississippi. But also while walking today I had the joy of encountering* daffodils ๐ŸŒผ in a vacant lot next to a ditch!

I'm unsure if these grow wild or if they may be remnants from a house that was once there. The empty lot contained evidence of a concrete stoop.

* encounter is the correct term to replace discover in many situations. For instance Columbus encountered America (and Americans) in 1492.
