Cats are biologically just very sleepy guys, but humans have an innate desire to wake them up and hassle them (because of cuteness). It's no wonder they have a bit of a reputation for being sassy! I would kill anyone who started petting me while I was trying to get my daily 18 hours of sleep.

I turned around for a second or two, and heard a *whump* behind me.

I turned back, and there she was.

I asked her to wait while I grabbed my iPhone for a pic. Itโ€™s a little blurry, but you get the idea. She had to jump from about three feet away, which was a pretty tricky maneuver!
