A tricolored heron getting ready to strike its prey. I've been revisiting older photos on my memory cards.

I'm not sure why I dismissed the photo when I took it. I like the composition of the blue water, wingspan and reflection.

Behold, the big #Heron of Kelvingrove park in #Glasgow!

It was surrounded by lots of crows and pigeons who wanted it to go away.

(I saw it catch and eat a big rat the other day... that was quite horrible to watch and really changed how I see them!)
