I opened my north-facing window, set up my mini tripod and #LeicaQ3 on the window ledge, and proceeded to snap away for around 2 hours. It was mainly just a wider covering of a red / magenta and green hue. At around 22.30 GMT, we had a bit of a burst which gave me a shot with the more defined streaks of the #aurora.
