Today, I shared the news of unblocked Ukrainian aid to my dear friend, who is a special forces #Ukrainian defender. He has been in combat 790 days. The most hardened fighters in modern times have no idea how a person could do this.

Ukrainians don't a have a choice, they must fight the Russian genocidal Army. He has put down many hundreds of Russian invaders, possibly > thousand. Today, he said, "Thank you"

We should be thanking him & all Ukrainian defenders.

It should have never taken this long. This should have passed months ago.The need and urgency has been clear for a long time. House Republicans blocking aid, on the orders of Donald Trump, underminded our allies and empowered American adversaries.Their actions are inexcusable.

Ukraine has gone above and beyond to hold Putin back, and keep Europe and America from having to fight a wider war.They have been doing their job.

Americans, please urge swift passage in the Senate. #Ukraine can not afford to wait any longer.

Americans, we must ensure the senate moves quickly to approve/finalize.

It’s crucial to understand that the Republicans had the opportunity to pass the bipartisan national security bill, already approved in the Senate. However, they were UNWILLING to do so for six months. They unnecessarily introduced multiple bills, causing further delays in the aid to Ukraine. This must go through the Senate, even though the Senate had already approved a bill that included national security. The Republicans removed the #border security from the bill. Removing billions #potus had for CBP and CBP wanted this badly! Keep this manipulation in mind.

It is crystal clear that the treason caucus republicans are covered in #Ukrainian blood. MoscowMike Johnson has been stalling Ukraine aid for months, each time giving a different excuse. Traitorous republicans are marked. We will not forget.

Ukrainian survivor of Russian torture files legal complaint in #Argentina

A Ukrainian man has filed a criminal complaint to Argentina's Federal Judiciary against the Russian occupying forces who tortured him, The Reckoning Project (TRP), an international NGO that works to bring war crime cases to court, announced on April 16.

Argentina's constitution allows for trials on "international crimes, including crimes against humanity and #WarCrimes, irrespective of where they took place," on the basis of universal jurisdiction, TRP said in a press release.

Though this case is the first time a #Ukrainian #torture complaint has been filed in Argentina, Mr M said that he is "one of so many cases."
