Mid-March and Reynisfjara¹, the famous black beach in southern #Iceland, is completely deserted apart from ourselves.
Fiercely cold but exceptionally beautiful. Only the wailing of sea-birds and soft lapping of the waves disturbed the peace.

an absolute gem... I tend to avoid it due to the crowds that are usually there, but I get why they are ;)
