Favorite meadow.

Last night, just before sunset. Been visiting this place for the past five years around this weekend of the year. A true sight to behold every time and a place/bubble of tranquility to charge up...

🌲✨ When the water is so clear that it reflects the world, your mind just hits pause.
When was the last time you visited a place of peace like this?

This is one of my favourite images I've ever taken - a pivotal moment in how I saw my images, and a moment that marked a moment of progression in my journey in the #Art of #Photography

I took it while balanced on the edge of a cliff, capturing what was a gloomy canyon scene before we were blown away as the sun cut through the overcast skies. Illuminating the mist and the damp foliage below.

Red Rock Classic.

Cathedral Rock viewed from the Schuerman Mountain Lookout, Sedona, AZ, USA - April 2026

On the way to the Crescent Moon Ranch for sunset shots of the Cathedral Rock, I stopped at the Schuerman Mountain Lookout to get this late-afternoon panoramic view of Sedona's best.

#MountainMonday meets a bit of humour - I named this image "Peace my Dude" as during our backpacking trip my partner and I could not stop seeing a hunched over dude holding his fingers up to say the title. It didn't seem to matter which angle we saw this peak from, it always was giving us some peace. ✌️

Mount Monolith might be part of the most unique mountain ranges I've visited.

In the high northern Tundra these mountains weren't formed by your usual tectonic plates pushing up on each other, but by the volcanoes that erupted underneath ancient glaciers, freezing them in time as enormous black vertical walls, with column like pillars extending across the ridge lines.

It only took me two years - but, I've finally published my Drakensberg Trip Report Blog, recounting favourite and daily memories from my multi-day #BackPacking trip across the #SouthAfrica #Mountain range.

If you'd like to read about it, and see some of the accompanying images, you can checkout the blog here!

In a world that’s constantly changing, seeing a landscape so wild and preserved from human interference is a rare gift. Just the river, the clouds, and silence. This region will always hold a special place in my heart.

Kellenspitze (2025)

(latest 8x6" Kallitype print from last night)

This mountain is the tallest peak in the Tannheimer Alps, here seen from a narrow ridge path in the north east. It was a fabulous warm day with so many mountain flowers in full bloom and clouds forming/drifting between the passes and nearby peaks, later developing into a heavy thunderstorm (thankfully only when I was already descending again...)

Birds On An Iceberg

Jökulsárlón glacial lagoon on a misty August morning. A layer of vapour is sitting on the water's surface.

The stillness is only broken by the occasional call of a seabird. All is quiet, the fog suppressing any sound.

Then the spell is broken by a harbour seal breaking the surface, always searching for the next meal.

The southern part of Vatnajökull National Park (Vatnajökulsþjóðgarður) in Iceland.
