So, is it getting quieter here in the #Fediverse; is it even dying?
That I don't know, but I can add some data: At least for @heiseonline it seems to be the opposite; the number of comments and likes keeps on growing.

I think we are seeing a shift from larger platforms to ones more like ghost and wordpress right now. over all things are pretty stable fediverse.observer/stats&month… but some of these platforms like ghost for example ghost.fediverse.observer/daily… have hard-coded their statistics to 1 and show no active users. The lack of following the specs or hard-coding numbers that never change can lead to some bad stats :(
