*Eye Roll*
I just read that Trump is pushing to acquire Greenland again and making threats.

As a U.S. citizen, I can only shake my head in shame. To all of our allies and friends:
I'm so sorry! I didn't vote for him. I hope the midterm elections can make him a "lame duck".
I truly hope that the next presidential elections bring us a more presidential president.

Trump renews Greenland threats at NATO summit, says U.S. could remove troops from Europe
NATO fell into a crisis earlier this year as Trump demanded that the U.S. must take control of Greenland on national security grounds.Kevin Breuninger (CNBC)

I guess I can accept, but not like, that Trump was elected. What I am really disturbed by is that both Congress and Supreme Court are not doing their jobs.
Again I can accept reps with other policies getting elected but this Congress is violating the Constitution. They have the purse strings and decide funding. They decide on war. They are not doing either of these. They have the majority and could but don't.
That is a really big problem letting the system break like that.

Agreed completely! We have a nice constitution (if the people will only follow it). There are a nice set of balanced powers to keep things under control. But when everyone is bad, what can you do? I know, I know... not everyone is bad. Surely there are some in congress that want to do the right thing........right?......*silence*.......right?.......

The majority of Americans want common sense gun control yet we don't have it
The majority of Americans want a women the right to choose on issues regarding her body yet we have gone in the other direction
The majority of Americans don't want to wage war on other countries yet here we are in Iran.
The majority of Americans want the rich to pay their fair share of taxes yet they don't.
Trump is a symptom. This has been happening systematically for a long time now.

Agreed. He's an ̶o̶b̶n̶o̶x̶i̶o̶u̶s̶ (I mean, "unpresidential") symptom.

It breaks my heart, but you are correct. Trust, like reputation, takes years and years of consistent reliability. And it can be destroyed in a moment. And 4 years of it is even worse.
