I am on my way to the civil registry office (de_DE: Standesamt) to declare my name and gender change. I will finally officially be known as Lian Lianna, and legally nonbinary, after six years of transition and detransition, uncertainty and loathing.

I am still unsure where to go from here. At least my very old birth name won't exist anymore except in memories. That hasn't been my name in forever. No matter where life leads me, Lian/Lianna will be a fine name pairing for any gender.
