Inside of a Short Sunderland flying boat, RAF museum, London

My son and I had the magical experience of exploring this beautiful machine from the inside. The Sunderland was indeed a war machine but there is something more peaceful and elegant about it, compared to many military planes. It has something of the character of a giant goose. It would be wonderful to see one of these take off or land on the water!
