On top of an old rotted log there's a patch of rich, green moss. On top of the moss is what looks like an endless patch of tiny tan parasol type mushrooms with dark brown/reddish stems and a light tan veined caps. iNat suggests it is Cross-veined Troop Mushroom.

A #ThrowbackThursday picture... of a time when our law enforcement officers were friendly, trustworthy, and loyal.

Okay, I made that bit up. This was the Castro Street Fair and we were being very gay that day.

Early 80s. A small lawn, a red Vespa, and the illusion of absolute freedom.

Judging by the color of the Vespa, it was probably powered by FreeBSD, even if it did not exist yet.
