#FediHood should be easy to use, with a very simple interface. It fully uses #ActivityPub and is compatible with the #Mastodon API (tested with #Fedilab). It will of course bring extra endpoints related to how it works. The project reuses the combined work from #HolosSocial and #PawFed.

Here are some screenshots of the Web UI.

FediHood's map set to an 8 km radius: an interactive map showing two count badges, each marking how many people are in that spot.
FediHood's Nearby feed: a distance slider set to 10 km, then a few posts from people close by, each with a time, a city, a distance and a topic tag such as Sport or Events.
FediHood's compose screen: a large message box, then four options: Visibility (who can see the post), Reach (how far it shows in Discover), Topic (its category) and Language (what you write in), plus Add image and Publish buttons.
The topic list in FediHood: Chat, Meet people, Events, Help, Buy & sell, Transport, Local news, Politics, Sport and Culture.
