Streetartwall. A self-designed, life-size paste-up showing a young man at a petrol pump was glued to a yellowish exterior wall. The dark-haired man in a long, wine-red coat, hat, jeans and black shoes is standing next to an old, red petrol pump with a petrol can and is pouring petrol into it. However, his shadow behind him shows that he is holding the tap in his mouth and drinking. Title: "Thirst"
Info: The artist Charles Leval, alias Levalet, is now exhibited in museums. He stands out from the usual forms of street art, as his scenes, lovingly drawn with ink on paper, show figures in their (often tragic-comic) everyday lives. They seem like repressed, unconscious feelings and experiences. They often fill long walls and are even told as serial stories.

Info: French photographer René Maltête (1930-2000) was a passionate street photographer. His photos are simply amazing, and what is even more impressive is the sheer number of fleeting moments he was able to capture. He was characterized by a mischievous sense of humour, nonchalance, gentle irony and sometimes seriousness.
