Das Bild zeigt einen verlassen wirkenden, schmalen Asphaltweg, der sich in einer sanften Kurve durch eine dichte, naturbelassene Vegetation zieht. Besonders auffällig ist der kräftige grüne Moosbewuchs, der den Weg von beiden Seiten her zurückerobert und nur einen dunklen, abgenutzten Streifen in der Mitte frei lässt. Zur rechten Seite wird der Pfad von einer stark verrosteten, silbernen Leitplanke begrenzt, hinter der kahle Sträucher und im Hintergrund dunkle Nadelbäume aufragen. Die linke Seite des Weges wird fast vollständig von dichten, feingliedrigen Gebüschen ohne Blätter eingenommen, die eine natürliche Wand bilden.

Today I share a favourite from a trip years ago into the high mountains of the Assiniboine Range in #Canada during fall when the golden larches were at their absolute peak. The golden larches dotting the landscape in golden colouring at every turn.

Highly recommend backpacking this region. It is absolutely stunning.
