If money is speech, and corporations are people, then #UTAustin, through the #UTIMCO non-profit corporation that manages its endowment, should be allowed to divest from any investment vehicle it so chooses, regardless of what #abbott or any other #Texas lawmaker thinks to the contrary. Unclear if the arrests vans made it out but the students were able to collapse a police line and were seen possibly heading back towards where the encampment had been.
A few hours ago it was reported that all of the students within the encapmanet were arrested and the entire crowd had been push off the quad.
