Trump hesitated, looking up as he thought of what to say, before answering: “It’s a long-term deal. It’s the ultimate long-term deal.” Asked how long that was, he replied: “Infinite. There is no time limit. It’s a deal that’s forever.”

Trump said the framework of a deal relating to Greenland would be put out “pretty soon.”
