Good morning, Mastodon!
Another cold wet day here on our northern California hillside.
Finally my husband's antibiotics are making a difference so he feels like eating. Yay!
I offered to cook whatever sounded good to him for breakfast.
He thought about it for thirty seconds before deciding on what he calls vanilla muffins, but they are really blueberry muffins without the blueberries. Small but tasty, he can slather butter and raspberry jam on both sides of the split muffin. This latest batch of homemade jam is really full of raspberry goodness.
Soon I'm off to the pharmacy for more medicine. Summer and her pal can cuddle until I get back.
So far it's a pretty good Monday, for a Monday.

What to do when you have leftover lemons and aging blueberries?
It turns out you bake glazed lemon blueberry bread.
We were going to need snacks for our sign making session anyway.
A new recipe for me but I am happy with the end result.
Moist and not too sweet.
Summer was watching me bake and looked interested for a few minutes. Obviously the interest gave way to a nap.
