Israel has failed to meet US demands to allow more humanitarian aid into Gaza. The US now says its demands were really just "suggestions".

Eight international aid organizations say that, of 19 required measures of compliance with the US demand, Israel failed to comply with 15 & only partially complied with four.

The UN says Israel let only one aid mission into north Gaza this month & then attacked the receiving shelters.
