This makes no goddamn sense. Iran closed the Strait of Hormuz, so the US closes the Strait of Hormuz? This is some playground-retort level of bullshit. This does nothing for strategy.
All I can think of is this is another extortion/market manipulation scheme. Iran still has full control of the Strait. I’m looking forward to Trump reversing this and allowing the markets to bounce again, enriching speculators.

There’s a damn good chance there are going to be two Republicans on the ballot for governor this year.
There is no good Dem candidate on the ballot. I think these accusations are credible, and I think they will stick. He should be investigated and prosecuted, and should drop out from the race.
Katie Porter and Tom Steyer are both neck-and-neck with Chad Bianco. The rest of the Dem slate can barely pull any votes, and should drop out before the primaries (they probably won’t).
