In the fast-paced world of generative AI, staying ahead means moving swiftly and smartly. ⏩

That's why we've embraced Gradio, the low-code prototyping toolkit from Hugging Face, as our go-to for bringing new ideas to life. https://mzl.la/4auVulc

Instead of blowing a shitload of donation money on #AI bs, how about you actually focus on what really matters, @mozilla ?

Like:

Seriously:

  1. log off
  2. get outside
  3. touch grass
  4. take a good and long sleep
  5. rethink what you just posted
  6. undo the harm you just did.

Sincerely,
A longterm Firefox and Thunderbird user.

Hey Kevin, I wanted to clarify that the Thunderbird project does not share any donation revenue with Mozilla — and vice versa.

We are our own subsidiary underneath the Mozilla Foundation (not Mozilla Corporation) umbrella.

I'll bet when they post this shit on Twitter they don't get ratio'ed like this.

Their takeaway will probably be: "Mastodon people are mean".

in reply to Mozilla

come on, guys. it gets really hard to recommend the browser to people when you keep doing this shit.
in reply to Mozilla

could have been the one browser not trying to burn down the rainforest generating a sea of endless ai bullshit, but Nooooo.
in reply to Mozilla

Stop wasting resources on this AI nonsense.

Hugging Face used other peoples' code to train their models without consent.

Focus on the web browser and mail reader.

in reply to Mozilla

stop. Nobody asked for this. Nobody wants an "ai browser". I still have no clue what an ai browser even is or does, and I do not see how shoving a statistical model into a browser will enhance anything at all. Nobody is using firefox because they want this kind of crap. Please, for the love of all that is holy, shift focus back onto juat making a decent web browser. Not a single person who uses your browser wants this.
in reply to Mozilla

I already stopped using Mozilla products because you fuckers have turned to the dark side.

No trust. You lost that. Forever.

What are you using? I'm almost tempted to go back to Safari if I can get a good adblocker into it.
in reply to Joseph
