The flooding at the Greenford London subway station has been reduced by around 90% thanks to... *checks notes* ...a family of beavers.

After conservationists reintroduced a group of beavers into a nearby city park, the animals began building dams, and the wetlands they created now absorb and slow floodwater naturally.

City officials had been planning major flood infrastructure works, but the beavers effectively created them on their own — while also boosting biodiversity and restoring the ecosystem around them.

I think the money the city would have spent on anti-flooding infrastructure should go to the beavers, don't you? 🦫 🦫 🦫

Raccoons are problem solvers and capable of opening doors. So I had the idea to give it a real tough conundrum. Finding the last key to open the vault filled with lots of fine treasures. It is night and a lantern provides warm light. The vault is rusty and surrounded by nature. Branches with leaves and blue flowers are following a stony background to the center of attention. This little raccoon already found the perfect fit for seven keys. Standing on a pile of several hundreds tossed attempts while trying to get nearer to its goal. In its left hand holding a ring with three keys with several metal materials and with the right hand a possible solution, a silver key, too busy to turn around and greet us. ist es jetzt eine futtersäulen-inspektion oder doch eher eine genauere untersuchung wie sich der deckel öffnen lässt. (dann wäre der zugang viel schneller, als mit dem großen schnabel in den kleinen öffnungen rum zu wuseln). mehrere minuten wurde gerüttelt und gebissen. ich habe das gefühl dieses projekt ist noch nicht beendet ;)
