First of all what is “culture”?

We humans have borders that divide us into tribes. The rules of the division are not always clear. Language? But USA and Australia speak the same language…
Same is the case for South Africa, England, Sudan, Botswana, Nigeria, Singapore, Namibia or Ghana. And some 100 more tribes:

French? Some 50 tribes speak French!

The fact is that there are many tribes that speak the same language yet their cultures can be totally different.

So what makes a “culture” is a soup of traditions, beliefs, religion, food, knowledge, art, clothing style, humor, sport, and so on.

A cluster of values that makes a group of people a bit different from another.

In that sense cultures are not only limited by borders and tribes, but they can form around a topic of interest such as gaming, movies, even celebrities.

For me this age of AI is the time we should appreciate less polished handwritten texts for their authenticity. I see this happening during selection of job applications.

Whales speak in sentences.
Sperm whales specifically have a diverse vocal repertoire, using sequences of clicks known as codas, and it looks like these codes form larger sequential stractures.

RE: mastodon.online/@BenGleason/11…

Many do not know this. You can learn to "READ" Korean in 3 days. You may not understand what you are reading, but you can literally learn to read and pronounce the language that fast! It's an incredibly scientific language, and Koreans are some of the nicest people I've ever met.
