Vielä hetki sitten ihmiset irkissä pohtivat kuoleeko IRC jossain vaiheessa. Nyt näyttää siltä, että tilanne on muuttunut.
Meidän Quakenetin #pulina kanava on ollut nyt pystyssä 18 vuotta ja ihmeen hyvin se on pysynyt aktiivisena.
Irkkaaminen on mulle elämäntapa. En osaa kuvitella arkeani ilman irciä. Se olisi tosi outoa, koska tykkään kirjoitella _koko ajan_. 😂

I've setup a (public) #IRC server on my personal Yuno server at
net.stux.me with a web client on irc.stux.me
It's super small and a little test.. If enough people are interested I /could/ setup something bigger for long term
I don't wanna make extra costs so it has to be worth it
I saw this on a Finnish post, so let me reformulate it a bit and post it in English.
Finnish universities 1996:
"Here's an operating system we created for you. Here's a chat network we created you can use with the operating system."

"We don't know how to replace Facebook for public communications."
