Did you know a barrister in the UK is facing jail just for reminding a jury they have the right to vote with their conscience? This historic right has kept trials fair since 1670. We can't let it be silenced now. Add your name to defend fair trials šŸ‘‰ you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions… šŸ“ #Petition #UKPol #UKPolitics

"We can afford it. We're not talking about higher taxes on those who get up and go to work for their income every day, but on the very richest whose income is derived from the wealth they hold."

VPNs aren’t just for privacy.

They’re essential cybersecurity tools that protect our personal data, help people to work or study remotely, and defend against cyber threats.

Restricting them makes everyone less safe – including children.

Sign and share the petition to protect VPN use in the UK āž”ļø action.openrightsgroup.org/tel…

Today we’ve joined over 20 organisations to urge the UK Government to protect children online without making the internet less secure by restricting VPNs.

Child safety and security aren’t competing objectives – we need both.

"Britain must now unite behind Count Binface" šŸ‘šŸ‘šŸ¼šŸ‘šŸ¼ newstatesman.com/politics/uk-p…

It's about 30 years since the #NewStatesman was bought out by a #Blairite mafia. Out went the social movement focus, in came centrists to attract buyers of the crates of wine now heavily advertised. Out went my pals on the staff, and my sub.

A generation later, young Ailbhe Rea's anthropological tales from Westminster.can be good. But not worth paying to climb the paywaoll.

But NS for #Binface is a fun twist.

Apparently Count Binface is registering more than 7000 donors of £3 to his/her campaign as of 18.30 on Wednesday.

Don’t ask me how I know.

This reads to me so much like Khan has been told by someone higher up "give them the contract or else."

Our government is owned by evil US corporations and they aren't even trying to hide it anymore

Report: British Medical Association drops IHRA definition of antisemitism over healthcare workers being punished for expressing their views.

NHS England formally adopted the IHRA definition in October 2025.

The IHRA definition "risks conflating criticism of Israel with antisemitism, potentially restricting legitimate political speech & advocacy for Palestinian rights."
