Clicking notification. The app starts up. I click update.
The App: “Updates? Hmm…my notification brother is always rushing things, let me see if there are any updates, and if you actually need those, and of course, if you are Worthy. Wait here [for a lot longer than my patience level].”

The App: “Hmm…yes, against my recommendation, the board has gone with the line of our notification app, and decided that you would benefit from updating your drivers to this new amazing version, which indeed is applicable in your case. Would you like to install them?”
Clicking “Download” for the 507 mb (!!) update, which is rather impressive given we are off by one minor version number.
Clicking “Express Install”. Staring at “preparing install” and have to keep moving the mouse about to not put the computer in sleep mode, about 8

Staring at “Installing graphics driver” progress bar. At this rate the US election will be done and dusted before the progress bar for this minor version number install of Nvidias gfx driver is.
The thing is, I just know I will not notice any difference, at all, when it is all done and ready.
