It’s very cool Bluefin have managed to get homebrew working in an rpm-ostree environment without host path conflicts.

I always thought homebrew would be perfect for atomic Linux but ran into the same issues. Today, on Silverblue, I run Rust-based CLI apps installed with cargo and/or, less favourably, Go apps. I only use a container when I have to build something from source.
So, yeah, I’ll be keeping an eye on Bluefin. They seem to get it.

Alright everyone! It took way too long to get here but Bluefin is feature complete. All the major surgery is done, the plan now is to chill from now until end of April and wait for Fedora to release. Then we’ll have a party as we flip the switch.Universal Blue
