⚙️🫡 Steampunk Commander. An abandoned #ArtDeco control room inside an emergency standby powerplant, somewhere in #Belgium.

Navy blue panels line the walls, each set with analogue dials and levers. Two removed dials rest on the central desk, like top hats left behind by a Steampunk gentleman. Large windows and skylights fill the room with soft late-afternoon light.

it's the last #BandcampFriday of the year, so it's time once again to remind all you lovely folks that I sometimes make electronic music! at this time, I have three releases out (with a fourth on the way when I can be arsed to actually put it together lol):

nonbinaural is a selection of tracks composed in 2022 that's heavily influenced by (among other things) prog-rock, dreampop, dance-rock, and synthpop.

eclipse is an EP of darker, more experimental tracks that didn't make it on to nonbinaural, exploring themes of mental illness and anxiety.

the ghost fetish is probably the most accessible of the three, a mostly-instrumental full-length album that leans more into synthwave and instrumental hip-hop.

Built in 1884, the Wilde Yarn mill in Manyunk, PA was listed as the oldest continually operating carpet yarn mill in America at the time of its closing in 2008. When I photographed it in 2012, I was unaware how quickly it would change.
