When Time Magazine decided to declare Trump "Person of the Year" (again), they put a convicted felon, serial sexual abuser, liar, cheater, serial bankrupter, misogynist, bigot, violent insurrectionist, and grifter on a pedestal. Do not forget this unforgivable act.
Under the pretense of naming the most newsworthy person - for better or worse - they have put his face on display in supermarkets around the country.
Children will see his face published in a space that should be reserved for the worthy, not merely the most newsworthy.
Time has sent the message to children (and everyone else that must endure this rotten image) that this type of person and this type of behavior is worthy of a magazine cover on one of the most established news magazines in the US.
We must push back against this affront to our better sensibilities. Turn those magazines around. Put warning stickers on them. Whatever it takes. Small acts will matter.
Watching a talk about #Time from philosopher Matt Farr - very interesting! Which leads me to the question:
