Only 35 years late (it came out in 1990) I finally got round to reading the first of the Wheel of Time books by Robert Jordan. Absolutely epic with some BRILLIANT worldbuilding... but hooo boy it's long!

I really enjoyed when the perspective shifted from our boy Rand to the other characters, but when it came back to him nearer the end, the other characters felt flat again.

I'll pick up book two when I can, but my next read is going to be... the Mork Borg rules!

Fun fact about me is that I studied in a 3D animation school for 1 year and a half before deciding that wasn’t for me. I really wanted to be a character designer or a concept artist though.
