This is a black and white nighttime cityscape, long exposure photo of a body of water with the light trails of passing boats and a high-rise waterfront cityscape in the background. Victoria Harbour, Hong Kong (2018).

The dark harbour water rises from the base of the photo upwards to a little above the half way up level. The water at the base is pitch black with it becoming an undulating silver tone from the reflection of the bright lights of the distant, about one to two km away, high-rise waterfront cityscape. From the quarter up level to the top of the photo are a series of random wavy lines crossing the image horizontally from left to right, light trails caused by passing boats and a long camera exposure. Around the centre section of the photo, the lines are much brighter and clearly defined, with the lines towards the top having a dimmer less distinct, almost mist like appearance. Beyond, is the city's waterfront lined with multiple, brightly lit skyscrapers, many with large and illuminated signs on their roofs. Some with lighting in the shape of Christmas decorations stretching the height of those buildings, one with 'Seasons Greetings' in large neon lettering near the top. The rapidly rising terrain behind the waterfront is obscured by the misty light trails towards the top of the image.

This is a black and white street photo in landscape format of a busy, city street corner with a traffic policeman directing traffic, blurred taxi cabs and a crowd of people waiting at the crossing. 5th Ave, NYC (2011).

In the lower left and right corners are the blurred images of New York taxi cabs speeding through the city's rush hour. The cab's are viewed obliquely with their right side and rear in view and from a distance of a few metres. In the centre of the photo is a New York Police Department traffic police man standing on the side of the road letting the traffic flow past. He is looking to his right (in the direction of the traffic) has a ushanka (Russian fur hat) on his head, is wearing wire rimmed glasses and has a dark moustache. He is wearing a sleeveless hi-vis jacket with 'NYPD' by the right shoulder and a thick, heavy winter's jacket beneath. Behind him is a crowd of commuters, shoppers and hardy tourists, all waiting to cross the street. Immediately behind is a large and brightly lit shop front belonging to the clothing chain H&M with numerous female mannequins behind the large glass shopfront. Above the centre and left of the photo is a street sign with an arrow and 'No Right Turn 7am-7pm except buses' and below a further sign 'Buses Only 7am-7pm Mon thro Fri'. In the upper right corner is a further street sign 'West 34th Street'.
