Old but still active train station in Alexandria, Virginia.

These architectural treasures are few and far between. So much visual delight that's absent from most of their modern replacements. This is just the hallway that leads from the lobby to the waiting room. The lofted ceiling and soft lighting, church pews for seating. A+ content.

Colour photograph of the main waterside entry to the Barbican Centre in London. There are three floors visible, the ground floor is all glass doors and the two above have floor-to-ceiling windows. The picture is taken at night so the outside is dark, but the inside is fully lit up. On the ground floor figures entering and leaving are silhoutted against the brighter interior, where there are many people moving around. On the floor above, orange light settings can be seen above two tables in the window, at which three people are seated. There is no-one visible on the floor above that, only yellow square sections of the ceiling. All the walls and ceilings visible are concrete, other than where colour has been added around light fixtures. To the right of the entrance is a large black slab with 'barbican' running up the nearest edge, it is lit from behind but it appears as though the bulb behind 'bar' has gone out, because it's noticeably darker than the rest of the word.
