There are several small rocky islands and islet in the sea, some of which have trees on them and some are barren. In the foreground some snow and bedrock from the near shore are visible. The upper part of the photo is a cloudy sky with blues and yellows of the late afternoon sky visible between the clouds. The sun shines through a gap in the clouds, creating a bright yellow line of reflection in the sea ice.

Before things got proper dark and the snow got proper busy, I managed to land a moment of calmness, shooting out across the fjord to Grov.

This is easily one of my favourite moments of the entire winter this year. Can't really explain why. It makes me feel like I belong here.
