I have finished reading Chapterhouse Dune. My fools errand is finished. It’s not good, and of course ends with loose ends.
I think my personal recommendation is reading the first two books. Although just one or even zero are solid choices. Three is alright, except it’s a trap if it makes you curious and want to read more.
I’m tempted to revisit Heinlein who I haven’t read in at least twenty years, but I’m also afraid he’ll be disappointing.
I don't super have extra brain cycles to spare, but I couldn't resist picking up @pluralistic 's The Lost Cause. Thank you, Cory, for this book.
A vision of the future where some societal choices have gone to the logical extreme, with astonishingly mixed outcomes? Yes, please. It's bad enough "seasons" these days are an anemic 10 episodes (if that!), and then they get cancelled while still going strong? ugh..

I remember seeing Interstellar in theaters when it was released…and hating it. I have since grown to like the movie after multiple viewings.
The movie is getting a second release this September, I am looking forward to seeing it again on the big screen ten years later.
