Oddly, since the advent of #AI, despite the loss of design/illustration work, I feel more determined than ever to continue drawing, painting, making images, and to keep learning, even it takes me days, weeks or months to create something that AI can spit out, thoughtlessly, in seconds. ✊

A little update on the baby elephant I'm modeling using the free SDF Prototyper Blender add-on…

Added a few non-SDF elements: the tusks and ears, because the current version of SDF Prototyper doesn't really allow creation of such shapes yet.

Next steps: mesh the SDF object, join with the non-SDF objects, then remesh in Sculpt Mode, and add some minor refinements.

Making a first model using the free SDF Prototyper (V2) add-on for Blender.

The add-on uses Geometry Nodes, and since the UI is a bit quirky, I find it easier to change parameters and connect nodes directly in Geo Nodes.
