das nächste Update steht kurz vor der Veröffentlichung.

Auf technischer Seite wurden die Downloads verbessert. Sowohl Dateien, die einen "ref-Header" brauchen, als auch Blob-Dateien können nun endlich gedownloaded werden.

Ansonsten wurde bei diesem Release besonders an der Benutzeroberfläche gearbeitet. Ein stimmiges Farbschema und vereinfachte Dialoge sorgen für mehr Anwendungsspaß. Wer schon einmal Bildschirmfotos sehen will, kann hier schauen:

I've been using the Niagara Launcher on my #android phone for quite some time. And yes...I paid for the pro version!

There's a documented bug where the #launcher becomes unusable after the camera has been fired in landscape.

The developers don't seem to have any momentum behind fixing this - so I'm having a good hard look at the Kiss Launcher.

I really hope #Volla can pull it off. They're surely in a better position for it than most. It'd be even better if they could ship their stuff to US or JP.

These days I've all but given up on dedicated #linux tablets/phones. Even though we have loads of em that are capable of running #postmarketOS, most of em still fall short of usable most of the time. The only folks who seem to have nailed the linux handheld experience is the #SailfishOS team. But of course there's a problem with that'n as well; if you're outside the EU, you'll have to suffer the trimmed-down DIY version of it.

These days I've found it much more practical to run something in a #chroot environment within #termux. I runs quite well on nearly any #android capable device via #proot, or even better in a proper chroot on a rooted one.

Ich brauche aber irgendein Feature, dass Listen oder einzelne Items verkettet oder getagt/gefiltert werden können, damit ich (wegen Allergien etc.) meine Sachen nach Laden sortieren kann. Es gibt Dinge, die kann ich überall kaufen, andere müssen speziell aus Laden X sein, trotzdem brauche ich 1 übersichtliche Liste wenn ich dort stehe.

I really appreciate Thunderbird's team, and these updates are going to finally put it into the running with other modern offerings. Disappointed to find "require authentication every time" isn't an option on the #Tuta email app for #Android

I know I'd lose new email push notifications, but this is my phone so notifications are off for reasons already. I was hoping that if someone finds my phone and gets into it they'd need my email password and non-phone-based 2fa to get into my emails.
