#Fedilab 3.36.1 has been published. Full release notes at codeberg.org/tom79/Fedilab/rel…

For #FDroid users, please wait a few days if you don't use our custom repo.

Great that Boost and Quote are separate buttons now. Thanks. What I also would wish for, cross-quoting as it is possible for boosting. Will open an issue.

#Fedilab 3.36.0 is out! Lots of changes. Release notes: codeberg.org/tom79/Fedilab/rel…

For #FDroid users who don't use our repo, please expect a few days.

If we only have minor fixes with the last beta, we should be able to publish #Fedilab 3.36.0 in production this weekend.
There are a lot of changes and fixes (see all beta release notes at codeberg.org/tom79/Fedilab/rel…)
Also, Fedilab now supports #Misskey, so don't hesitate to share so we can get more feedback. Thank you!

#Fedilab 3.36.0-beta-4 is available. We need feedback from beta testers using #Misskey. Full release notes: codeberg.org/tom79/Fedilab/rel…

As reactions are important for #Misskey, we have improved this part in #Fedilab. Now, there will be only one button with two tabs and the ability to filter. Otherwise, most important features common with the app UI have been implemented.

#Fedilab 3.36.0-beta-3 is available (bug fixes).

In the latest #Fedilab (beta), you can filter an entire post. Tap the three horizontal dots at the bottom right of a message > Mute > Filter this post. Then add it to a filter. We recommend creating a dedicated filter for this. Of course, it syncs with your Mastodon account and you can manage filtered posts from both the app and Mastodon.

#Fedilab 3.36.0-beta-2 is available.

#Fedilab 3.36.0-beta-1 is available. Full releases notes at codeberg.org/tom79/Fedilab/rel…

With #HolosSocial, we introduced the same feature that is on #Fedilab to discover videos from the Fediverse thanks to #SepiaSearch (sepiasearch.org).

#PeerTube devs offered this option, which is really helpful for discovering new content on their platform.

We might introduce peer-to-peer streaming soon when watching PeerTube videos, with an option to disable this behavior.

Their API is used to display the content, then actions work through ActivityPub.

#Holos differs fundamentally from #Fedilab. As the server runs on your phone, using Holos across multiple devices is currently not possible. The relay caches pending activities and clears them once retrieved (multi-device sync not yet implemented). Traditional apps rely on a server API and are limited to what that server knows. Holos fetches data directly via ActivityPub, giving you access to the full Fediverse.

We've started a FAQ based on your feedback: holos.social/faq

Too, it seems @Pachli at the moment is the only client to handle things as strict as this; I have never seen this issue popping up in #fedilab, #tusky or #moshidon by now. Not sure how well these generally support quoted posts, then again.

looks like the Kitten link at ¹ should be posted at ² instead, and ¹ needs a link to Auto-Encrypt rather than Kitten?

Edit, never mind; I see that you've already fixed it, but apparently the edit hasn't propagated yet to the instance I'm on.

Edit 2: more accurately, the mobile #Fedilab client I use apparently doesn't update the cached post, even when refreshing the thread. :(

You have been mentioned as the 2 essential apps to support #UnifiedPush in the beginning. 💪️
