A very old Catalpa tree. It’s November, so there are no leaves, the sky is gray, and the ground is brown. The limbs are magnificently gnarled, and the trunk 
 well imagine you could take a normal tree trunk and twist and twist and twist it, almost like a soft-serve ice cream. Only twistier. In the distance beyond the tree, an old white church is visible. It has pillars at the top of the wide entrance steps, and a tall steeple. If you magnify the image greatly, you can see that a very large Black Lives Matter flag hangs above the entry doors.
