‘It’s not drought - it’s looting’: the Spanish villages where people are forced to buy back their own drinking water
Spain is increasingly either parched or flooded – and one group is profiting from these extremes: the water-grabbing multinational companies forcing angry citizens to pay for it in bottlesGrace Livingstone (The Guardian)
This is the kind of propaganda we are up against. The planet is burning and this shit is still legal.
When enough people die, surely the knives will come out for these types of people.

It’s no surprise that we have wildfires breaking out all across the state.
Yesterday, a fire broke through in south county - idiot humans who can’t be bothered to give a crap about the land and its creatures. The fire had grown to 1,110 acres as of midday today. I live 50 miles north of the fire and before sunset we could already see the haze and smell of smoke.

How do you think our leaders have done so far in tackling the challenges of global warming and climate change? Not very good, right?
But when is the last time you heard anyone in a position of power admit that? Never?
In this grimly accurate spoof video, a government representative says: “Being honest would mean admitting that we're failing. And we can’t do that.”
So instead they invented a heinous scam called 'Net Zero by 2050'.
Although it's comical, this video is also highly informative. In fact, I'd say it offers the best explanation of the Net Zero con job that I have ever seen.

If you're a supporter of Business As Usual — and especially if you're an investor in oil and gas — there's good news! 🙄

One year after world leaders made a splashy promise to shift away from fossil fuels, countries are burning more oil, natural gas, and coal than ever before, researchers said this week.
Global carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels are on track to reach a record 37.4 billion metric tons in 2024, a 0.8 percent increase over 2023 levels, according to new data from the Global Carbon Project.
It’s a trend that puts countries farther from their goal of stopping global warming.
