1) Maybe you know one of the opening scenes from 2001 ( ) where the apes invented the first tool with the bones. Then an ape throws a bone into the air and in the next cut you can see a space station orbiting the earth. This is a metaphor for the fact that we invented the tool first and then later we can no longer live without our tool. Although not as brilliantly as in 2001, the film recommended here poses the question of whether AI is still a tool or whether humans have already become a tool for AI? A.I. Uglies (2024)

The 2010s called and they’d like their movie back. This movie just feels like a bad relic from the past. Without movies like Uglies, there would be no foil for much better films.

Everything is so bland. The acting is stilted, the CGI is pretty low rent. the action is boring and the world building lacking.

The filmmakers don’t see the irony of casting beautiful actors to portray ugly people whos only desire is to get surgery to be pretty.

I’m the future they have the Captain America Super Soldier program too. They are creating the most beautiful dumb soldiers.

Joey King can’t play teens anymore.

Oh dear goodness, the ending leaves this open for a full franchise of movies.

Darin diese wunderbar schnoddrige Beschreibung der Situation in einem bemannten Raumflug:

Ich persönlich finde es relativ absurd, zu viel darüber zu spekulieren, was denn geschähe, gäbe es eine künstliche Superintelligenz.

Das ist Stoff für #SciFi (durchaus für gute!), denn die Technik ist noch lange nicht so weit. Niemand hat eine Ahnung, wie man so etwas bauen sollte.
