I gave this month's Inkscape challenge a go "Draw a simple object in detail".

I rarely do realistic work - as it feels more like copying than creating - but this was fun for a change.
As usual, I used clip groups [to place all the blurred shading objects inside the 4 main parts], gradients, lots of blurs, taper strokes, and changed a few blend modes to 'Overlay' or 'Multiply' to get nicer [warmer] colour mixes.

At large events mobile networks are saturated with data traffic and news coverage can be interrupted or delayed because of the congestion. So we're using the largest ever temporary private 5G network to cover the Coronation.

The #FrancisScottKeyBridge in #Baltimore #Maryland has completely collapsed. An unknown number of vehicles and people were plunged into the water when a giant cargo ship impacted one of the main supports.

Video captured the moment around 1:30am, when the entire long bridge crumbled in a domino effect. Rescuers are on the scene. At the time of this posting, two people have been rescued and at least seven are confirmed missing. The sun is just coming up, and rescuers have been hampered by an inability to see clearly.

The #KeyBridge is a major thoroughfare in the city.
