Hello yall

Wanted something fun to interact with professionals and academics. Got tired of LinkedIn. So, here we are.

I am a master's student currently working on EEG analysis, neurodoping, congnitive enhancement and sLORETA.

And yeah, I have not forgotten watching movies in the process.

Hey there, I'm Chris (aka Chrizzly) and I'm an astrophotographer by night and landscape photographer by day. I also enjoy making music, been playing guitar&bass for 9 years and write songs in Ableton (but never finish any :D). I also started getting into #pixelart last year.
I am from southern Germany/Bavaria, but mostly post in english.

Hi, I am Søren (the "ø" is pronounced like the "ea" in "Earth"), a guy from Denmark. I am trying out the #fediverse to see what it is all about and support it with a bit of content.

I post about #Lego and #EuropeanAlternatives (and #DanmarkSkifter in Danish), but as a person who goes through hobbies like people go through.. stuff they change often.. that is bound to change down the road. In tha last year I have been around sewing, macramé, 3d printing, and a few others.

howdy yall! I'm a restaurant designer/architect in the SF bay area. Love Hard Fork and Search Engine (including Reply All and Hyperfixed). I was about to feed my #cat when I was listening to the pod.

Still trying to figure out how to navigate the forkiverse. When I first made the account the trending hashtags were mostly #introduction but now there's way more. Is there a way to see all the posts in our server(node?) ? Or does everyone have a massive followed hashtags list?

Die Künstlerin steht lächelnd mit schwarzer Kappe und langen Haaren neben ihrer Feldstaffelei tief unten in der Viamala Schlucht. Links oben ist die Hauptstrasse, in den Fels gebaut und mit einer Gallerie vor Steinschlag geschützt. Oben in der Mitte überqueren zwei Brücken die steile, felsige Schlucht. Auf der Staffelei steht das fertige Bild, welches auf realistische Weise die Viamalaschlucht abbildet. Die Felsen sind dunkelgrau und die spärliche Vegetation wie Moos, Gräser und kleine Büsche sind knackig grün.
Die Adula Bergkette mit Gletscher beim Einnachten. Der Himmel ist violett-blau, die schneebedeckten Flächen leuchten im Restlicht, im Tal unten ist es bereits dunkel. Rechts im Vordergrund steht eine Tanne. Unten an der diesseitigen Bergflanke entlang ist ein Weg sichtbar. Im Himmel leuchtet der Abendstern.
Ein spiegelglatter Bergsee von hohen Bergzinnen umgeben. Es ist Frühsommer, noch früh am Morgen und die ersten Sonnenstrahlen haben den See erreicht. Das Licht wirft noch lange Schatten, im smaragdblauen Wasser spielgen sich die Lärchen von der anderen Seite des Sees. Links, vom Bildrand abgeschnitten stehen dunkle Tannen. Diel Luft wirkt frisch und vom Licht durchdrungen.
Die linke Hand der Künstlerin hält einen feinen Pinsel und malt gerade an einem mittelgrossen Bild (ca. 50 x 70 cm) In der anderen Hand hält sie einen dickeren Pinsel. Das Bild, welches gerade entsteht, ist von einem realistischen, felsigen, schneebedeckten Berggrat. Die letzten Sonnenstrahlen berühren eben noch die obersten Felsen und Schneeflächen und tauchen es in ein warmes, goldenes Licht. Der Himmel darüber ist tief blau. Die unteren 2/3 des Berges liegen bereits im dunklen Schatten. Das Bild drückt eine tiefe Ruhe aus.
