Here, take some flowers because tomorrow is Monday.... again.
This is my painting of a fennel field under moonlight, which I couldn't go see in real life.

My favorite neighborhood farm has several patches of flowering fennels. They are beautiful in the sun, but I wanted to see them under moonlight, which is difficult to do. This is what I imagine it might look like.

How pretty is my cactus? It is like 90% flowers by surface area right now.

The season's change seems to coincide with tons of other uncertainties. The winds are bringing positive change or not? I hope so but like lots of folks I don't want to hope too hard because our future still seems very much in play.
One thing is certain though. Our garden is marching on towards winter and the promise of spring is already sprouting through the grass. Our daffodils are showing up just as the roses are putting out last flowers before they die back for the season.
Time marches on though and there is no uncertainty of that fact.
The good news is that I find myself daring to hope that better times are maybe not right around the corner but just down the road a piece.
