This is obscene. The vile Shabana Mahmood has confirmed the new immigration rules will be retrospective.

Junior doctors held a protest outside the BBC on Thursday.

On average last year, 14 doctors applied for A&E training place, despite an ongoing chronic shortage of A&E doctors in English hospitals.

This week, the Health Secretary Wes Streeting referred to the doctors' union as a "cabal", and Bridget Phillipson declared she was determined to "smash the unions".
